Pre-Appointment Preparation

Arriving with a clean, makeup-free eye area allows your technician to focus entirely on application, maximizing both retention and safety.

  • Remove All Eye Makeup: Cleanse your lashes and eyelids thoroughly using an oil-free cleanser to remove all traces of mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow.

  • Skip the Oils: Do not apply eye creams, serums, or heavy moisturizers to your eye area on the day of your appointment. Any residual oil can prevent the lash adhesive from bonding correctly.

  • Avoid Mascara: Stop using  mascara 48 hours before your appointment, as it can leave a waxy, water-resistant residue that is difficult to remove and interferes with adhesion.

  • No Caffeine: To prevent your eyelids from fluttering (which makes application difficult and time-consuming), avoid coffee, energy drinks, or other stimulants for 3-4 hours prior to your visit.

  • Arrive Contact-Free: If you wear contact lenses, please remove them before your appointment. The process can cause minor irritation if lenses are left in.

Post-Appointment Aftercare

The first 24–48 hours are critical for the adhesive to cure fully. After that, consistent maintenance will keep your lashes looking full and healthy.

The First 24–48 Hours (The Curing Period)

  • Keep Them Dry: Avoid water, steam (showers, saunas, hot tubs), and intense sweat (intense workouts) for at least 24 hours. The adhesive needs time to polymerize.

  • Warranty: If you experience excessive shedding within the first 48 hours, please contact us for a complimentary touch-up. 

Ongoing Maintenance

  • Cleanse Daily: Contrary to common myths, you must wash your lashes. Use a lash-specific foaming cleanser or an oil-free, gentle soap to remove natural oils, dust, and dead skin cells that break down the adhesive.

  • Brush Regularly: Use a clean spoolie brush daily to gently detangle and groom your lashes. This prevents them from crossing over and looking messy.

  • No Oil-Based Products: Oils are the enemy of lash glue. Avoid oil-based cleansers, makeup removers, and heavy creams around the eyes, as they will cause the extensions to slide off prematurely.

  • Hands Off: Resist the urge to pull, pick, or twist your extensions. This can cause natural lash loss and permanent damage to your follicles.

  • Sleep Smart: Try to sleep on your back. If you are a side or stomach sleeper, consider a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction, or use a contoured sleep mask designed for lash extensions.

  • Avoid Mechanical Curlers: Never use a mechanical eyelash curler on your extensions; it will snap the bonds and break your natural lashes.

  • Avoid Makeup: Do not apply mascara or liquid eyeliner to your lash extensions.

When to Schedule Fills

Natural lashes shed in a cycle (typically 2–5 per day). To keep your extensions looking consistently full, you should schedule a "fill" or "refill" appointment every 2 to 3 weeks. During this time, the technician will remove grown-out extensions and apply new ones to your fresh natural growth.

Fill-In Requirements

To keep your lashes looking full and healthy, we recommend fills every 2–3 weeks.

  • The 40% Rule: You must have at least 40% of your extensions remaining to qualify for a fill.

  • If you have fewer lashes, it will be considered a Full Set and priced accordingly.
